Converting Between Forms
Learning the methods to convert between fractions, decimals and percentages.
Core concept
For example, converting 7/20 to a percentage: 7/20 × 100 = 35%. Converting 35% to a decimal: 35/100 = 0.35. Converting 0.35 back to a fraction: 35/100, which simplifies to 7/20 by dividing both numerator and denominator by their HCF (5), confirming the conversions are all consistent and reversible representations of the exact same value.
