SSCClass 9 (SSC)Mathematics - Algebra (बीजगणित)Ch 7 · Topic 1
Statistics
Statistics involves collecting, organising, analysing, and interpreting data, essential for understanding patterns and making informed decis
Core concept
Data can be organised into frequency distribution tables, showing how often each value or range of values occurs in a dataset.
How it works
Measures of central tendency - mean, median, and mode - summarise data using a single representative value.
Why it matters
Graphical representations like histograms, bar graphs, and frequency polygons help visualise data distributions for easier interpretation.
Key detail
Understanding statistics helps us analyse trends, make comparisons, and draw meaningful conclusions from data in various fields.
